Thought our forum could award an MVP. Hard choice and certainly more than one player worthy of being the recipient but I'll go with Chad Jones. Not only cause of the "Big play" but also b/c, in all the hype about "Saban's recruits" surrounding this game, one of Miles' recruits had the one that allowed us to seal the deal.
Dorsey, just because of his heart. The dude doesn't know the meaning of quit. Maybe Byrd for the 140 yards and TD, maybe Doucet for the TDs he was in on. Maybe Colt David. It's hard to choose, but I'm still going with DOrsey.
Doesn't he remind you of the movie "Predator"? I agree; there are too many players that contributed to the win, from Doucet to Byrd, Chad Jones , Flynn, Dorsey, Hester. Overall, I'll pick Doucet.
I'll geaux with Doucet because I'm SO happy he's out there again. His TD to tie the game on 4th and 4 was simply phenomenal! It just ocurred to me that this LSU football team reminds me of the 1993 LSU baseball national champions. Those guys just found a way to win in the CWS that year. Could anyone ever forget that 9th inning rally to place us in the championship game?
I give MVP to the refs. 14 for 132 yards. 4 reversed calls. ONCE AGAIN - NO HOLDING CALLS AGAINST DORSEY. They played a heck of a game, but still came up a bit short. :dis:
I was only kidding by the way. We hurt ourselves quite a bit...it wasn't ALL the refs fault. But I do not understand how we hardly ever get a holding call in our favor? My MVP is Dorsey. The dude's got heart man. There's no quit in that guy.
Early Doucet ..its great to see him out there again...our whole D should be in the running for MVP of the game...was it 7 sacks?
