I am fairly new to this board. First I would like to thank all of you for being here. It means so much to a Tiger fan such as myself to have a connection to home when I am so far away. I remember the times I spent in Tiger Stadium on a Sat night like they were yesterday, there is no other place in college football like it. I have been to a few games here in Columbus at tOSU Horseshoe but it just is not the same as Death Valley. At the Shoe you watch a game, at Tiger Stadium you feel the game. Anyway as far as tOSU vs. Penn St. game I would have to say after seeing the Buckeyes play all year they will not make it out of Happy Valley with a win. Joe Pa will have Penn State ready. Once again thanks for being here Tiger Fans. :helmet:
great to have you here!! i must say i have the feeling OSU will luck itself into a win this weekend. i think their D is that good and PSU doesn't have the offensive weapons to make them pay. i hope it's a defensive battle so one play here or there could turn it for the joe pa's. i'm sure the crowd will be great but one or two big plays by robiskie and this thing could be over soon. i think it'll be close though. OSU by a hair 17-16.
The game all depends on Anthony Morelli the PSU QB-can he win the game for his team and not lose it? He has a tendency to throw a few INTs and fumble in big games and he doesn't have a good reputation with his fans. In the loss to Michigan he fumbled and threw for less than 50%. Against Illinois in another loss he threw 3 picks. Our D has got to get in his head and make him make mistakes. If we can get our stable of running backs going we can take the crowd out of the game and control the clock. I really want to see what this Buckeye defense is all about, they have been great all year and I just want to see if they can rise to the occasion I am fairly confident about this game, PSU won in 2005 by a touchdown with a team that won the BCS Orange Bowl, and this 2007 Penn State team is not as good as that one.
You may vary well be right.....and I would love to see a NCG between tOSU and LSU but I do not think OSU will make it to Dec. without a loss. Penn State 17 Ohio State 14 :thumb:
