We have seen a few congrat threads but I want to thank you and the team for accomplishing that.

Seems some have forgotten what we have won under you.

We will move on but for the time being...I am grateful.

I appreciate what he's done, but once the bowl game is over, he'll be of little interest to me. Now, what he's left behind will be of GREAT interest to me and I hope that Skip & Co. will find an even better replacement.

Coach Saban is leaving us the winningest coach in LSU history. He gave us the best 5 years in the history of LSU football. 2 SEC Championships, A National Title, the first undefeated home schedule since the 70's, not to mention bring the program into the national spotlight. This is all things on the football field, and I am proud to have attended LSU during the Saban ere for these things. I am also proud at how he molded the lives of young men. He turned young boys into men on the campus, he brought all kinds of academic help for the athletes. He has prompted the building of a new West Upper Deck and his wife helped with the I Like Mike campaign. So yes I think we are all sad to see him geaux, but we all knew it would come some day and I for one am so thankful that he not only did those great things here, but he is leaving with the program prepared for greatness with the next head coach!

You might want to post a more up to date list.

    CFN

Of course it does depend on whether or not you are looking at total wins or winning percentage. Cholly Mac was a good one for his first 11 years, average or mediocre his last 6 years. But Nick's .762 winning percentage, 2 SEC titles, 1 national championship, 5 straight bowls seasons are impressive enough for me to call him the best ever. And Cholly Mac took over a loaded program, Saban didn't.
