Thanks to 1/7/08 Ohio State just got their best recruiting class ever without signing one NLOI. Laurinaitis - coming back Jenkins - coming back Boone - coming back Freeman - coming back Robiskie - coming back Nice to see these guys come back as seniors. If any of you remember, it was an Ohio State player that first entered the NFL draft (supplemental) after his junior year. Chris Carter had contact with an agent and became ineligible and petitioned to be in the supplemental draft. This opened the door for underclassmen to be eligible for the NFL draft. It is interesting that at Ohio State it has come full circle as #2 (Chris Carter) was the first and the current #2 (Jenkins) decided his senior year was more important. Ohio State has been among the hardest hit by underclassmen leaving in the past and the word is that the rigors of football as a "job" can wait as past Buckeyes have been giving advice to current players to stay and enjoy their senior year.
In a way, this helps LSU fans in general, as I have seen a lot of LSU members on this board saying that they want to see USC lose to us next year. Thanks for beating on us, and making the team remain hungry. Even if we don't get to the BCSNCG, we should fair well against USC, against the Big Ten, and in the BCS.
With all the Talent LSU has coming back next season, believe me. The Tigers will make plenty of noise!:thumb:

BigWee, Watching my kids grow up (18 & 14) and be great students, citizens and solid athletes is good enough for me to sleep well at night. :yelwink2: I love Buckeye football but ultimately it's nothing compared to the joy I get from my family.
Phenomenal. If they beat USC and Michigan next year(they will), then they will certainly earn their way into the NCG and nobody can deny that. Regardless of their schedule this year, that was a good team we defeated in the NCG. Those guys coming back and redeeming themselves next year will go a long way towards proving that. I would love to say we will see you next year but Georgia, Florida, Auburn, S.Carolina, and even......bama might have something to say about that. :lol: Hope we get there, but best of luck next year no matter what. Had a great time with Buckeye fans before, during and after the game. Class acts all the way.:thumb:
