LSU went in as a four seed. That means they were among the top 16 teams in the country. They were probly the first or second 4 seed. That means they were somewhere in the neighborhood of 13 or 14th as far as RPI and all that. Do you realize a number 13 or 14 football team doesnt even get the shot to earn a trip to the championship? I know this is an old argument, but its nice to see that a team can sneak up on people and do great things as opposed to a two horse race for the NC in football. Teams can be rewarded for having good seasons in college basketball. You have to have a phenomenal seasons to even sniff the crystal football.

and it doesn't hurt to have loyal fans who ALWAYS support the team....especially on the radio.

Northwestern state took out #3 Iowa
LSU takes out #1 Duke and #2 Texas

This is why College bball is unmatched in my opinon. Teams like Bradley, GM, and NWST show you that anyone can beat anyone.
