I wish they would have included the seating capacity for each stadium. Some of these will be high just due to the quality matchup but I'm guessing some will be expensive due to the capacity or % of season ticket holders.

Better question is how the hell is LSU\Tulane on that list. LSU can't give those tickets away. They say they are going for an average of 228.00. I may have to buy a few more and sell them.

So these are basically scalper's prices right? I just don't see the LSU-Tulane game tickets being that high. Because the teams stopped playing each other long ago the rivalry is not the same. When Tulane began playing in the dome it lost a lot of its student following and now the dome is virtually empty. The dome will be filled with 90% LSU fans and I just don't see the ticket demand justifying the price.

I think ticket demand will go up for the Tulane game... alot of fans will buy late or at the gate... They will just feel like catching an LSU game then partying in the Quarter..

I have a little further info on this. I was listening to Rivals radio last week and they were interviewing an official at Ticketcity.com discussing this very list. He said the list fluctuates as some teams do well and some tank during the season. He briefly mentioned the LSU-VT ticket as one that would likely rise the closer the game got. He said big games in the beginning of the season have the most stable price because obviously most teams don't have any losses then. He said it was very similar to the stock market in that the prices will go up and down depending on how the teams are doing, if there are any intriguing back stories to the games, and even things like the weather forecast a few days prior to game day. It was like you could either pay for an expensive ticket for a november game now or risk waiting and getting it cheaper if one or both teams are falling short of expectations.

One thing I thought was cool was that he specifically mentioned the LSU v Bama game. He said he expected that game to climb the rankings fast and keep going up the closer it got to game day. The reason he cited, and I'll try to quote him as best I remember "LSU fans are going crazy to get these tickets. They are buying them up like crazy. They are dumping much of their own tickets in order to get these. It's like they're planning an invasion, I don't know what they plan on doing there but I think a lot just want to look Saban in the eye and get under his skin. It could get crazy.".... That's what he said as best I can remember, I'll try to get the audio for yall. That right their pumped me up! "an invasion!" I'll get to work on the audio right now actually.

Well, things do change and by ClaraDawg's vision of the future, the Egg Bowl will probably by up in the top ten by the end of the season.
