replace E. Martin with E. Kennison. TE...I dunno because we haven't had a whole lot of prominent TEs, but I'd put D. Lafleur in that spot. Mawae belongs on that OL somewhere. Ditto on D-Ends... Dunno about LB's. Ditto on Cb's, and I like Donnie Jones over Chad Kessler.

Nick Saban for all time HC.

    Almost....
    WR:Replace Martin with Carlos Carson
DT: Replace McFarland with Leonard Marshall
DE: Replace Northern with Lyman White
LB: Replace Brooks with A.J. Duhe

    That would be my group.

Mawae was pretty unspectacular at LSU. He blossomed in the pros.

Marshall instead of McFarland? Maybe. White instead of Northern? I understand that, too. But Carlos Carson instead of Eric Martin is absolute lunacy. It is not my intention to diminish the accomplishments of any former Tigers, but Carson's legacy was built almost entirely on one game. Michael Brooks was one of the greatest Tigers to ever suit up at ANY position, which I guess is why you think he should be replaced by a defensive lineman.

Rohan and Hodson were very good but neither could hold a candle to the Yat (Y.A. Tittle) or Bert Jones!
The best running backs ever at LSU were Jimmy Taylor, Billy Cannon, Johnny Robinson, Charles Alexander, Jerry Stovall and Doc Fenton. Hard to leave out the Moving Van, Steve Van Buren.
The Ol would be Alan Faneca, Dave McCormick, Nacho Albergamo, Eric Andolsek and Robert Dugas. You would have to include George Rice in there as well
Wr would be Eric Martin, Josh Reed and Andy Hamilton
TE would be Ken Kavanaugh, Sr.
DL would be John Garlington, AJ Duhe, Booger McFarland and Ronnie Estay.
LB would be Mike Anderson, George Bevan, Warren Capone and Michael Brooks. Brooks actually played a standup DL but he was officially a LB.
CB belongs to Tommy Csanova, Corey Webster and Mike Williams although I'm hard pressed to leave out Chris Carrier.
Safety Liffort Hobley, Mark Roman, Yat and Kevin Jackson.
Hard to leave Stovall and James Britt out of any DB ratings.
Punter Chad Kessler although Pinky Rohm might have been better.
Kicker Mike Conway. Really there's not much difference between Conway and Browndyke except that Conway had a little stronger leg. I'd take either one in a heartbeat to win a game for me.
PR/KR specialists Sammy Grezaffi and Tommy Casanova
HC My sentimental fave is Cholly Mac. Had he not been fired, he probably would have led LSU to SEC dominance and our second, maybe third NC.
