...is pineapple. I'm talking super fresh, enzymes eating a hole in the roof of your mouth pineapple. Not that mess you buy in a can at the store. Closely followed by oranges and tomatoes. I haven't had them in a LONG time but from what I remember figs are pretty freaking awesome as well.
I am a melon kinda guy (2 at a time most preferably). 1. Watermelon 2. Satsumas 3. Canteloupe 4. White Grapes 5. Strawberries 6. Granny Smith Apples 7. Tomatoes 8. Red Grapes 9. Pineapples 10. Bananas
any and all fruit. fresh pineapple is good. but sometimes its hard to beat a fresh juicy peach, juice running down your chin. a big bowl of berries - strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, can sure hit the spot. especially with a bit of fresh whipped cream. watermelon on a hot day. red grapes and pear slices with a fresh baked croissant for breakfast. add a slice of bleu or brie cheese and im a happy camper. i could go on and on.
fruit are ok. i eat them mostly because they are healthy. i prefer macaroni and cheese. the best fruit is a tomato. the second is a banana. i would rather eat a hot dog than either of those.
01 Satsumas 02 Raspberries 03 Strawberries 04 Peaches 05 Pomegranate 06 Kiwi 07 Grapefruit 08 Plums 09 Blueberries 10 Cantelope Heh, forgot about grapefruit and plums...
In no particular order: Raspberries Gold Raspberries Blueberries Peaches Nectarines Apricots Pluots Pears Blackberries Kiwis Strawberries Navel Oranges Tangerines Limes Apples Cantaloupes Honeydew melons Mix 'em all up for a KRAZY smoothie! I really do love summertime for all the fresh stone fruit. We get it all at the local farmers markets here in SF and Berkeley.
I would have peaches in my top 10 if we're talking about the syrupy kind in the can. But I don't count that. The raw fruit just doesn't appeal that much to me. It's ok at best.
