I got my spring game errr scrimmage tickets in the mail today. Every year when the week before the spring game comes along, I get pretty anxious. I also prepare to get one of the worst sunburns of the year.

For some reason, this year I am pretty indifferent about the spring game (scrimmage). Trying to figure out why.. I suppose I just have no real idea of what to expect. From the stadium condition, to everyone sitting in north endzone, to the new coaching staff, to it being a structured scrimmage and not a simulated game.....

For the first time that I can remember, the ticket actually says "Scrimmage" instead of "Spring Game". My guess is we won't really get a glimpse of much of anything. Miles has kept things so close to the vest. For as much effort Miles has put into catering to the fans, he seems to be totally dropping the ball with this scrimmage format. I hope he proves me wrong!

If this doesn't live up to past years, I think he will hear about it. I don't get it, why not do a game situation? It's big for the players and I would think it would be more telling for the coaches.

Miles said that because in a game there are certain situations that you won't get to experience. A scrimmage allows you to get all of the different situations in.
