The Chad Jones Hit in the Fourth Quarter

    I was at the game and did not see the replay of the hit. Was it Helmet-to-Helmet? The flag seamed to come awfully late.

    And how did they miss the face mask on Jones' 1st punt return?

    Yes it was... awesome hit but it was a good call... would have been a touchdown without it...

    It looked like he led with the shoulder, then helmet followed. But he hit the arkansas reciever so hard it made it seemed like it was helmet to helmet.

    Both of Chad Jones' hits were worse than the toliver hit that everyone bitched about.

    I hate the rule. I think you should be able to knock the phuc out of anyone. It's football for goodness sakes.

    But he shoul dhave been flagged for both if the guy should have been flagged from Tech.

    It was not helmet to helmet, but it was an illegal hit. Defenseless receiver rule applies.

    That was without a doubt the most violent hit I've seen in a VERY long time!

    Nah. It was perfectly timed. The receiver's helmet flew off and that prompted the flag. It was a FOOTBALL hit.
