Nice read, and spot-on as well. http://sports.aol.com/fanhouse/2007/10/26/the-chop-block-heard-round-the-world/#comments
Heard round the world, but not seen by the umpire standing less than 5 yards upfield staring right at it. :rolleye33: And I don't think there's enough room in this forum for me to address the claim about how squeaky "clean" Tubby and his program is.
He had a great article last week about how hip-hop culture influences team morale and performance in the NFL. The man certainly isn't afraid to speak his mind.
My first impression of Whitlock, after seeing him complain about racism in sports the first 47 times he did "The Sports Reporters", was negative. But every time I read his column, I'm very impressed with his insight. Anyone have a link to the chop block column?
Nice read. And Mctiger, the link to Whitlock is in the above link's article. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7374232?MSNHPHMA See #2. I think the aol blog quotes the entire Whitlock quip.
