So let's say we get a playoff. We'll just get another ref job by the Auburn refs against a media-favored team and everyone is crying for the BCS again.
I dont have a problem with a 4 or 8 team playoff. If it was a bigger I would worry about teams acting like the NFL in the way they sit their starters if they are expecting an easy game or at the end of a regular season. Say some SEC team was a lock and we beat them the week before the playoffs. The new excuse would be that we didnt play our team so you didnt really beat us. A BCS playoff would need to keep the every game matters philosophy that college football is famous for.
