I got the goose bumps and I'll never forget the feeling of pride that fell upon me. I remember thinking to myself, "I wonder what it would be like if there were fans in the stadium?".

On a serious note, I'd be interested in hearing from some of you who were blessed in being able to run out of the tunnel with the football team, march on the field with our band that is as dear to us as the football team, cheer in front of our great fans, or dance with the Golden Girls. Give a description of the feeling for those of us who haven't experienced it.

The first time I ran out on to the field in Tiger Stadium I was being chased by two sheriff officers after we beat Auburn in 95.

    Does that count? :hihi: :hihi:

Oh yea smores sound good right now.

I played before 63,000 during the Miami game in 1963. Unfortunately I played the saxaphone at halftime on Band Night.

My first SEC time on the field was against Florida. my first night game on the field was against none other than Auburn. i was running balls for LSU on auburn's side. i got scolded by tuberville himself when bowe made that catch off his knee because i could hold my excitement and yelled "he caught it!". i'll never forget that. i'll also never forget how silent the stadium got just before vaughn hit the upright in OT. what a great experience!

Back in the 70's, I played youth football with Steve Ensminger's little brother, and since Steve was the QB for LSU at the time, our team(Tigers by the way) got to visit TS and locker rooms and all. They let us storm out the tunnel onto the field. Of course it was Friday night and the stadium was empty, but I guess you could say I ran out the tunnel with the Tigers!!

At the time I said man, I'm gonna do that for real one day.... Unfortunately, I discovered beer in high school and football wasn't as important anymore...

Dabbs, you just lost some credit, man. If you said you discovered girls, I could have agreed. Beer and football are synonymous. :dis:
