I hear they're all out of bubblegum ... hey, so is LSU ... and we'd better be.

This game is gonna be a 60-minute war ... The entire future of LSU FB is at stake in this one game ...

LSU fans have been to the mountain top in 2003. We refused to lose sight of the prize in 2004, knowing we needed just better QB play to get another shot at the title in 2005. All the talent was there!

Then Saban left! Miles came! And brought his OSU flavors of the day with him. Many were happy. Most were cautious and guarded. Some were downright disgusted, including your not-so-humble narrator.

After the TN game (a team FLA whipped 16-7 the week before) LSU fans on the edge of the cliff peered down the mountain into the Green, green valley of Mediocrity. Many remained positive. Most were bitching and disgruntled. Some were downright disgusted and demanded heads, including your not-so-humble narrator.

Then came hapless MSU and Vandy (with a High School strength O-line) resulting in two lopsided LSU victories. Many were happy and even started dreaming of Rose Bowl possibilities, some remained cautious and guarded, and even fewer were still downright disgusted, including your not-so-humble narrator, who almost nailed the LSU victory margins exactly on the head.

Then came Florida week ... It's time to go to war ... This is where the metal hits the meat, and the men are separated from the boys ... and one of these programs will take a tumble ... a far way down into that green, green valley.

Mediocrity awaits LSU if they lose here. A loss here will deflate this LSU FB program and leave it as SEC Roadkill. Miles fate as a FB coach rests on this one game. The honeymoon long over, LSU coaching has to come up with a game plan to:

    WIN!

And so if we lose, Miles is a failure and the FB program is thrust back into ineptitude you say.

Is the reverse true? If we win, is Miles a great hire and the FB program back to glory?

I say you say no. You're not looking for the best interest of the team, you're hedging your bets so you can post more nonsense after the game.

All of the Talent except: Marcus Spears, Corey Webster, Travis Daniels, Lionel Turner, Ben Wilkerson.....plus a Non-injured Alley Broussard & a Non-injured Kirston Pittman. Ramah, remind me how Saban managed to lose 3 games in 2004?

The entire future? Drama from Ramah?

Vandy is much better this year than last year. With Saban we managed a less impressive 24-7 victory at home. The Tennessee meltdown was embarrassing and troubling but there is still hope for this team. The defense is playing much better and if the offense can play to its capabilities this team can reach a BCS bowl.

So Ramah shows his true colors. A bandwagon jumper.

In 2003, when LSU was making it's play for King of the Hill, there was Ramah, trash talking all who dared doubt the greatness of "his" Tigers. Now, with some weaknesses exposed and the possibility that LSU gould (gasp  ) lose, he is (as Philter astutely pointed out) hedging his bets in order that he can come on later and phantomly (notice his hit and run style of late) post that he told us so.

For those of you who think I hold some kind of man love for Nick Saban, direct your attention to Ramah. If I did have an inkling to explore the nether regions of Saban's posterior (which I don't) I would have to scale Ramah's ample ass to get there.

You are not a member of the team or staff. How can you be embarrassed? How does LSU losing cause you embarrassment? Is your life that shallow?

What are you, stupid? The guy's a fan of Tiger football, like everyone else here and I'm sure 99% of the guys here at tigerforums.com were embaressed after that game. Are you telling me you weren't embaressed after LSU lost to UAB, or when we barely squeeked out a win against Troy last year? Give me a break...:dis:

No, a fan shouldn't be embarassed for something happening that they can't control. And last I checked, fans have virtually no input into what happens on the field (other than crowd noise.) Being embarassed by other's actions just makes no sense at all. Disappointment, frustration, maybe anger, sadness -- I can go with all of these. But embarassment? Nah...

And it's good to see Ramah posting like this. It's like having our very own David Koresh telling us to be mindful of the comets and to prepare for Armageddon when the groundhog peeks out.

It's not a matter of personal embarrassment. It was an embarrassing result; not because LSU lost but because of the manner in which the game was lost. That's all I'm saying. For the record, I have never taken off my LSU colors- ever! Not out of embarrassment, not because I didn't like a coach, not because the team was losing.
