Culp must have really done well in practice recently to get O's confidence. Because earlier this year I can't see him not going for it, in college 42 yards isn't as much certainty as in the NFL. Especially considering we were missing 20-30 yarders.
the check down to guice to pick up the first late was a great play. I hope it was going though progressions but if it was coming back to a play that was setup earlier when de didn't check down I like it
I'm not so sure it was: 4th and inches, 2:36 left, 3 timeouts for auburn and kicker with a shaky past. But in the end you can defend it either way. I'm just glad it worked out.

If we didn't make it they win anyway...they were ahead. You can make an argument on both sides. I think I would have went for it to ensure they don't get the ball back. However that could have caused culp to think eaux had no confidence in him. So in the end eaux went with his gut and for that reason alone he should be congratulated.
