1. Going into last night it seemed the ratio of media pundits picking the tide to win was at least 3-1 over LSU.

Saban is/was a football God incapable of making mistakes. Alabama would win the next 10 national championships, etc.

Considering all that, it should amaze them that LSU went into their house and won the game.

Nah....they'll just blame Alabama's kicker, instead of the LSU defense that kept them that far away from the endzone forcing them to attempt long kicks.
  2. Let them eat crow, we'll even give them some Tony's to sprinkle on it to make it go down easier. If I said that it didn't bother me at all that most of the media just doesn't like LSU, calls our coach lucky, our D isn't big enough to play against the bigger O-lines like bama's, etc., I would be lying to you...it does bother me a bit. But honestly, I don't let them ruin my joy...my joy is not in their heads/words!

Saban waited all game long, & then when he thought he had the momentum, he let a limping Maze go in their to take the snap & throw toward the endzone! What an idiot! He no doubt thought it was going to work! That was to get back at Les from the previous years when Les called some crazy plays, in which in this game, Les did not. He just let his team play hard, smashmouth SEC football. But I thought it was hilarious that Les got in Saban's head to make him call a play like that in an attempt to show ppl he could be a gambler too, but he sucks at it! We knew Maze wasn't going to run it, he could barely run his routes after he got hurt! I love the D, & no doubt the MVP of the game was Reid! I couldn't be happier for the Sr. Les is the better coach.

And mark my words (as if most of y'all don't already know), when we make it to the NCG & we have to play Ok. St., or Stanford, they're going to pick either one of those teams above LSU. They forget so easily, but let them.

  3. Nick, you are a great addition to the forum. Your posts are spot on, including this one. I would add that Montgomery was a beast, and an unsung hero, in addition to Reid being the MVP. It is ironic that Saban took the risks this game, maybe feeling some pressure to do so- good points there. Agree with the media bashing is bothersome, but Les has provided us good practice to focus on the forests through the trees, and the joy is not lost on me either.
  4. Couldn't agree with you more! Just seems like we don't ever get enough love. Hopefully if we win it all this will change, only team with 3 BCS championships...
  5. I don't care for anyone to be on their knees in front of me unless....well let's say I wouldn't care for it to be them.
  6. And a lot of experts think that LSU will be better next year than they are this year. I smell a dynasty.
  7. Somehow I doubt this is an issue for u....

  8. I've heard several last night talk about the D that kept bama out of the end zone. I'm hoping this loss took it's toll and bama drops one more... like i said earlier, had we lost I wouldn't be shouting for a rematch, they lost, get over it and prepare for the Sugar.
  9. Don't talk with your mouth full.
  10. Tig, my little Harlot you couldn't "fill" anything....:hihi:
