The new LSU Football Era

We must score 30+ points every game in order to win. Our D-fense will give up a lot of points all year long. Hopefully the D-fense was just off tonight. I remeber reading that Pellini saying he wanted to keep it simple but why. If our D could understand Saban's D, they could understand any type of defensive scheme that is thrown at them.

This season has started off real strange for many teams.

You do have to give some credit to the ASU OC.

If the LSU Tigers have nine lives, they used up at least three of those lives tonight.

Anyway... Congratulations on the WIN against the PAC 10.

I wouldnt think they would sit back and accept this defense the way it is. maybe this is a good thing .... SINCE we won...maybe it's a good thing that it happened early.....instead of later in SEc play...... maybe now they identify some lacking defensive scheme's and correct it.

 

Agree, I wasn't happy with the D, but this was only our first game and hopefully it will be corrected. If not....what a long season it is going to be.

 

Our D will be lights outs as long as it's the run they're defending!
