Just got home and wanted to say the game was alright, but the noise level was not even close to the level at last sundays give me game against the panthers.Guess we weren't really up to playing lowly notre dame. After seeing the spank down usc put on michigan ,kinda makes you wonder what we could have done to them. This was my first sugar bowl, and unless it is the national championship game,I do not think I will be attending.Hell the halftime show even sucked! The little high school cheerleaders were "dropping it like it's hot"to the sounds of lean on me?Anyway glad our tigers won and glad our outgoing class has a good win under their belt to last a long time.:bball:

I'd have to say that it sounded much louder to me tonight than it did for the Saints/Panthers game this past sunday. Could just depend on where you sit I guess.

On TV, game clearly had loud moments and dull moments. In the first half, crowd was taken out of it by ND's comeback to tie the game and by LSU's lack of offensive possession. Also, there were a fair amount of ND fans and as the game quickly got out of hand, these guys were not only silent, but the TP is reporting that many of them left the stadium by early 4th quarter.

Meauxjeaux2 must have been smoking crack. It was loud as hell for a lot of moments. And please, I love the Saints, but it was so much louder than the Panthers game that it's not even funny. Unless you were in stall #3 for most of the game, it was loud. Maybe he was being sarcastic, I don't know. Everyone in my section seemed to be having a ball. I will agree that the halftime show was pretty boring. But other than that, it was a great atmosphere outside the dome and inside the dome. Even the ND fans were getting loud inside the dome and I'm used to them being a little more reserved. I would tell anybody to go if they ever get a chance. It's electric.

    I was at both games.

It was equally loud at both.

The only way the Saints game could have seemed louder to you is if your ass was on your shoulders for the Sugar...:dis: :dis:

Oh, and the game was alright ???? Come on man, it was a great game, great game plan and execution by the tigers!:thumb:

It was hard to tell on the HD Fox feed how loud it was. They did not seem to have the dome miked the same way as is has been for other games.

I thought it got really loud at times. It was my first time in the doe for a game of any relevance. I was impressed with the noise!

Kinda like playing Arizona, you know you are going to win if you play like you are supposed to so you don't get excited like you would for an Auburn, Florida, etc.
