This maybe the best group at LSU i have ever witnessed. They are mean and nasty and we are deep on that line. I think at least 7 guys play with effectiveness. Tehuhema and Pocic are some of the best young guys I have ever seen. This is the true heartbeat of this offense right now.

Deservedly, Fournette garnered plenty of attention after he anchored a 411-yard rushing day by the No. 8/9-ranked Tigers (2-0, 2-0 SEC). He was quick to deflect it.

"I didn't do nothing," Fournette said. "First shout-out to the offensive line. During the preparation I told them ... everybody saw (Ford's) tweet. We took it into consideration. You can't come into our house and talk crazy and expect to come out with a 'W.' "

How about Teuhema, the true freshman in his first start springing the first block on the 71 scamper. He was fucking dominating.

boutte aint getting back in. the coaches wasted no time making that switch thank goodness. looks like slow feet to me. teuhema is special. this o-line gives les happy thoughts and will be the main reason for success as the season wears on. still hoping the dline can match it.

I saw that block too, lasalle. But everyone mauled their guys and fournette had a hole as big as texas on that first run. was a thing of beauty.

He's every bit as good as advertised. This is a very big athletic OL. Grimes is making his mark both recruiting and developing. Clapp and 2E will be anchors on this line for the next couple years.

This may be the best O-line I have seen in 40 years. Pocic was SEC offensive lineman of the week last week. This week Vadal Alexander is SEC offensive lineman of the week. Clapp had a tremendous game and Teuhema does not look like a freshman either. Hawkins is getting less attention than anyone and he has the marquee left tackle job where he has been a rock. Boutte showed me he could pull in the very short McNeese game and he weighs 345.

These are big boys but they are quick, strong, and smart. Both guards can pull and get outside to the strong and the weak sides. Pocic can pull and get ahead of the running back from center, which is not common. Both tackles are mobile.

Boutte will be playing some. He is the strongest man on the line, a bulldozer straight ahead. I think it was the holding calls in pass protection and the fact that Teuhema needed to be playing. I thought Clapp would be out, but he has been on fire.

Pocic is so versatile and so good. he never takes a snap off and has that ugly side you need to make you great. i think its the best overall line ive seen as well but im not gonna jinx it.

oh he will be back in just not as a starter.

He was getting beat out his stance against moo u and got burned. I don't know if it's something that he can fix with better technique or more playing time. Grimes seems to want quick athletic guys that can pull. I'm not sure if he has the quickness needed at his size. I'd love to see him improve in that area and earn playing time, but he's going to have a hard time getting either of the freshmen off the field.

yeah hes unlikely to start barring injury. Coaches get a gold star for recognizing it game 1.
