  1. Wow. It seems like alot of LSU fans love to hate my boy RP. This thread is dedicated to showing RP that, believe it or not, he has fans that are pulling for him. I got your back, RP!:geauxtige

  2. I think most everyone here is pulling for RP to show greatness on the field and better judgment off the field. I think the negative posts you see towards him are more disappointment in his brushes with the law rather than a dislike of him.

  3. Damn straight!
RP, I hope you can keep fighting on the football field for a fanbase that does not appreciate you for no good reason.

  9. i support every LSU player including larry foster and cecil collins when they were here.
  10. I also support RP. I don't like that people are quick to think that Coach Miles should run him off.

My dad coached high school football for over 30 years, and not all of his players were choir boys. But sometimes, Dad was trying to save the "boy who would become the future man" and would keep around guys who made bad decisions (within reason--some things were inexcusable.)

Dad's theory was that the boys were less likely to end up in jail and leading unproductive lives if he gave them the outlet of football. Very few of his former players ever saw the inside of a jail, but many who were on their way there have come back years later and thanked him for setting them on the right path by believing in them and giving them a chance.

Why shouldn't Miles help RP save himself from bad decisions?
