Obviously Tiger will be the favorite, but who else has a chance?

I think Ogillvy and Goose are looking good right now. And Lefty will be lurking i'm sure.

    What say you?

I'll say this once and then the Mods can come in and lock this thread.

NO ONE else has a chance.

    :)

Nah, on a serious note, I like Goosen and Adam Scott if I am picking someone other than Tiger with Els as a little bit of a sleeper, too.

Yea, if it is Tiger on Sunday i hope it's a BIG name that challenges him. Not someone out of nowhere, *cough* Bob May *cough*, but a Goose, Scott, Ernie, etc.

Plus hopefully the winning score will be under par this year. The US Open is enough for over par winners.

Augusta is consistently around the 6 under - 12 under range.

Should be no different this year.

I like Woods over Mickelson in a close one.

If Woods plays well, no one will be close to him.

that's just the reality of the situation.

If he struggles, which he is more than capable of doing, then the shrubs can maybe sneak in and make it interesting.

    We'll see.

Im still hoping I can make it out there and it isnt looking good this year. But if not I will be glued to the TV.

Tiger being a lock will vary drastically on the greens and what the weather is like. If the wind is swirling on the back nine and the greens are running he will be tough. Having course knowledge at Augusta goes further than most courses in the world. If you are on the back nine you will think the wind is dead but looking up the wind moves in a circle above the tree tops...it is definitely a thinkers game.

I wouldnt be surprised to see Sergio near the top. Official predictions coming later. ;)

Mickelson's game is made for the Masters.

    He is a formidable threat.

I don't have a problem with that statement.
