It is not the coach. It is not the players

IT IS SOME OF YOU FANS!

In the last 6 years we have won the SEC West 3 times, the SECCG 2 times, and a BCS championship.......yet some of you (I would name names but you can go look at the board and find the negative ONE I am thinking about now for sure) act like the world is ending when we win a close game.

That is why LSU will never be a consistant player on the national scene and attract great coaches...who would want to coach at a place where winning consistantly and making championship games, etc are not good enough. You ran off Saban (don't think the fans booing after a NC year did not figure into his decision) and criticized him all his final year.......yet now would kiss his dirty ass just to have him back. Think he wins this game today any differently?? NO...because he won just like this last year with the same personnel.

Get a damn clue some of you...Miles is not the problem when players are flat...........the players have to be held accountable as well. Miles does not drop passes and float balls in the air for 10 seconds.........

So, FightinTiger, yes....maybe bad football has begun at LSU...but I blame you as a crappy fan for it. We will never have a big name coach in here again with dips like you.

    Quote me!

Great post. you have to claw and fight to win sometimes no matter who you are playing. Texas had its hands full with a sorry texas A&m without its QB. Sometimes you get in a dogfight and you learn alot about your team. This team has really played well when their backs are against the wall.
We are the #3 team in the nation. People easily forget we were 10-1 heading to play Ga in the SEC champ game 2 years ago.

If you are not on the bandwagon what in the **** are you waiting for????

The funny thing is he's not the only one! A win just isn't a win if it's not by 20 or more points, I guess. Maybe some people should be USC fans (now) and then switch to the other flavor of the day in a couple or few years.

Yeah USC didnt have close games with Ar state, or state, ND and Fresno state.

The grass is always greener on the other side.

who cares what pressure is on the other teams have on them. your supposed to be an lsu fan and a true fan is a fan through and through and dosent complain when things get messy so long as their team pulls out of the mess. miles isnt playing the game the team is and that makes them all accountable for mistakes.

letdowns like this are not uncommon. there is little reason for pessimism. i agree that too many tf posters are unreasonable, but its ridiculous to say expectations are too high at LSU compared to other programs. LSU recently won a NC so there is obvious reason to have high expectations--its not different at other big programs. Ohio St firing John Cooper, UF firing Zook, Carr under big pressure at Michigan. LSU is not a program like Ole Miss that does/did have too high expectations in firing Cutcliffe

Oh, come on . . . we are starting to attack each other way too much on this board lately.

    I hate that.
