I'd LOVE to have a set of DVDs of these and some of Saban's Tiger wins.

    Brings back impressive memories!

Here's to hoping 2011 vs. #8 (probably #6 by the time we play them) Arkansas will soon be added to this list! :thumb:

Good list, but I would put the VaTech game a lot higher. That was the best performance against a highly ranked team I have ever seen LSU play. In fact, I bet there isn't another game where LSU beat a team ranked in the top 10 by 41. The game was a complete blowout from the opening gun.

Additionally, VaTech ended up being one of the grab-bag of 2 loss teams in 07 and won the ACC. Had we not played them, they would have gone to the BCSNCG game instead. Our win over them is why we vaulted USC before they lost, why we were able to regain #1 after the loss to UK, and why we were able to stand out from the year-end crowd. It showed the country just how good that team could be.

I think it at least has to be #2.

    GEAUX TIGERS.

I had the hardest time with the VaTech game. Being it's not an SEC team, was played at home and VaTech was just not in our class lowered the greatness of the win for me. Great win no doubt, just not the same as what we did at Florida last year (tough tough place to win). For instance. And the game was early in the year.

No way. Thorny has this right for exactly the reasons he (supposing Thorny is a he, but could be wrong) outlines. Va Tech win definitely #2; only the win last week against ALA deserves to be higher than that one. Otherwise, your list is good. ALA last year probably better than #6, too, but you give good justification for the others above it.

The Va Tech game... the one game where Keiland Williams was all we'd ever hoped for.

    Great idea for a thread.

That 07 win over VT is what really catapulted us into the NC game though. It was on the voters minds as they moved us up as VT was also in the hunt for the #2 spot as well. It's what separated us from the other teams.

I would put the 05 ASU game on there for the emotional factor that it carried.

Five for five on fourth down aginst Florida was the most exciting game , and hardest on my nerves, that I have ever watched. I was hoarse when the game was over from yelling at the tv. We were watching at the deer camp. It was the most amazing showing of determination by a player I have ever seen. Hester is my favorite tiger of all time. He had half of the Florida defense on his back when he crossed the goal line for the winning score. No other game shows what it means to be a tiger more than that game. A team that will not quit. A coach that plays for victory , believes in his players and is willing to put it all on the line to win. This is where miles became the "hat". No other game comes close. Tebow crying as he walked off the field is a moment that will live with me forever.
