I do too. This is what makes college football college football. A good prank, no personal injury or property damage, no vulgarity. Just good clean fun. IIRC, a group of Tiger fans (probably students) snuck into a lecture hall in Morgantown during game week last year and Tiger Baited the whole lecture. Silly? Without a doubt. Fueled by alcohol? More than likely. But a good prank that hurt no one and caused no damage. Prank on Garth!
Shouldn't that statue have Saban yelling and throwing down his headphones or kissing Herbstreit's ass?
From conversations I've had, I didn't come away with the feeling vengeance was a motivating factor. There's a good chance I'm being to literal. They didn't approach the game with a feeling of "let's retaliate because we were wronged." I heard a very business like approach with a strong tone of "we've got a job to do."
It was to avenge the loss in the first game, not the cape and the smack talking. I'm glad I was able to stir the fire of a couple of you anyways.
Pranks like these two are part of the great fabric of college football. Funny...not mean and long may they live.
pranks like this suck. Zero planning. Gump just happened to walk by with his shopping cart and reworded his will work for food sign. And then stuck his only clothes not in the garbage bag on the tiger. whoopee.
It didn't stir my fire. In fact, the first thing I thought of was one of the pics red posted of the bumper sticker. I thought that was going a bit too far but I had just cleaned some glue off of my car a few weeks prior to that due to an idiot sticking something on my car.
