That was fall of 1970. After game, "liberty" in DC was a disaster, I remember riding back to annaoplis in a bus awash with puke. The Mall looked like a war zone, navy and af clothes everywhere. Did not play AF in DC again for many many years. I think they played there just very recently.
They played in Annapolis last year and don't quote me, but I think they've played in Annapolis a few times recently in the odd years.
Nick lent his ride to poor ole' Bobby P., who lost his ride recently (and his girlfriend, and his job, and his wife, and his self-respect). Maybe he can get a job selling beer for the Falcons.....
That Navy goat was lucky. Had they pulled that stunt in Tuscaloosa, that would have been one sore-assed goat!
Mike's diet includes a lot of very lean meat; doubt a fat-assed Bama fan would be more than a chew toy for Mike. The VetMed students who are Mike's caretakers have trained him to not swallow any of that tainted, unwashed skin. Gross!
