They guys in the costumes..

Elvis, Spider-man, etc... do they get special treatment at LSU games and get seating up front for TV purposes, or do they just happen to have great seats each year? I've always wondered this one...

 

It had been discussed earlier but I don't remember which thread. They have "Assumed" seats, from what I remember......not really reserved but they are allowed, by the Student body, to come in late and go sit in the bottom.

Though I say "Allowed" I seem to remember some posting about being ticked off with them waltzing in late and being afforded those seats.

They meet at a church, suit up, and head to the stadium. They have some little ritual for the games.

Their friends usually save them seats, although sometimes they are the first ones out there.

I think I remember that thread, it was about basketball though. They tried to do the same thing for the PMAC and it didn't fly.

 

I'm pretty sure there was a story in the Revielle about it last semester, but I could be wrong.
