As I sat at my computer last night playing Civ III and watching USC vs Stanford, I wondered if the world was coming to an end.

But as the second half came to a close I realized everything was right in the world...OR was it.

See Stanford was playing great football. Up into halftime, but something happened when both teams went into the locker room, that only the lockers and dirty towels know.

Did "The Devil" make great halftime adjustments, and the true USC team show up and regain control. Possibly, they are the #1 team in the nation, so that could be concivible.
    Or
Did Frankie and Johnny, Not the let Her have it guys, pay old Buddy T a vistor in the shower room, and tell him that the media would not stand for an upset of this magintude in Week 4. And that he should make sure that doesn't happen OR ELSE!
    Or
Did Buddy T, live up to his "Buddy System, can't beat the system." and pick up the phone and sold his soul to "The Devil". realizing that his team RIGHT NOW could not be in position to win a NC, but if he was to drop one so that USC could keep their dream alive for a favor down the road.

Now you can believe what you want but if something is working, YOU don't go away from it, especially when playing the #1 team in the nation. You want to hang up as many as you can.

    You make the call.

I think it is more likely that the SC adjustments were the difference in the second half, and not any kind of payoff/favor type crap.

    Really you think so.

See I think it was the adjustments in Buddy T's calls that was the factor. Seeing that he went to the "sitting, prevent" offense. He sat on the ball the whole second half. I did not see the same offensive play calling that went on during the first half.

See it doesn't matter if the defense makes adjustments at the half if the offense stops trying to score and play it safe.
