Clairice's sig pic: It is hard to believe what I see in that photo, but I know he can get up that high having seen him do it countless times. Whenever I am at a game and watching them play, I can't help but think at times that I am seeing one of those really special players... One that we are very fortunate to have playing for LSU. I don't like comparisons between players but... When I see Thomas play, he reminds me a good bit of Shaq in his early days at LSU. Very similar body style. Remember how slim Shaq was? Then you have the athletic skills demonstrated by Thomas. He electrifies the arena with some of his blocks and slams. I have not seen such a player at LSU since the days of Shaq. We have had some good ones since then too, such as Stromile... but Tyrus Thomas brings it to a different level.. a Shaq level! Don't believe me? that is an angle shot from the floor....he is not actually that high. don't get more wrong, he is way higher then my a$$ will ever get without a ladder, but the angle of the picture is playing a large part in the perception you have.

lol shaq? more like a nikita wilson or dwayne scales. slim and athletic. shaq was always huge even when he was a slim freshman and could never sky like those guys. he was just so much taller and bigger. whats funny is how guys like this who looked so frail in high school can suddenly develop into difference makers in the conference. you just never know i guess. cuz guys i know and respect said tyrus the virus would never be able to start in the sec or any major conference. now look at him. it was only his 16th game last night.
