TigerBand Marching for Mardi Gras (REX) From the Times-Picayune: Tuesday, January 27, 2004 LSU Tiger Band to march in Rex With the excitement of the Sugarbowl and all things LSU not far behind the minds of New Orleanians, the Tiger Band will make sure no one forgets them soon. This year the sounds of the LSU Tiger Band will echo in Rex on Fat Tuesday. Slated to march on Mardi Gras day in the cities premiere parade, it will be the bands first time to march in a carnival parade in twenty years. Their last appearance was in Bacchus in 1984
hope you see me there! if we march the same way did for parade of champions, i will be the guy on the left side of the band right in front of the drum line, carrying a silver baritone(huge trumpet looking thing)
My friends bro is lil' Jon on the drum line. We are also friends with Big John, too. We are all excited about seeing this and hearing the band march. From Morehouse's email, looks like Rex didn't hesitate at the LSU request.
Wow, that Peggy Lipton was one hot number. She was on an episode of "Wings" about 10 years ago and she still looked good.
Mardi Gras Krewes I'll bet your going to see some LSU football themed Crewes this year for the Mardi Gras Parades. I'll bet they'll be throwing LSU Beads like people were selling for the Sugar Bowl.
