An article from the advocate says this guy is now 7'2 325 http://www.2theadvocate.com/sports/4403426.html I think this will be a great find, and I bet it will help with G Monroe. This will lock up the PF spot for him and AR can play SF. Hows that for size a front line of 7'2, 6'11 and 6'10!
cant wait to see this kid on the court...from the scout article i read it seems like he keeps on getting better and better....plus hes already a 4 star kid.
Yes, Wow, the staff's got some momentum here. I've been holding off from the '08 hoops recruiting thread until signing day, but the staff's not keeping it easy. Hard to say what we really have here, but as they say... "You can't teach 7'2, 325". This is a giant of a recruit and one, honestly, that you'd say to yourself, could have been a NBA type potential recruit in past years. So, you have to say this is a great get. One because LSU continues to solidify it's reputation as "Big man U" and a place where we're known for getting big men into pro-playing shape. And two, this is the kind of guy that can complement AR and Greg Monroe, as you say, perfectly. Greg M, you won't get that 6'10', 6'10" and 7'2" line up anywhere else in the SEC or at Duke or Kansas for that matter. Now, the guys are worrying me a little bit though, you need some top notch shooter/SG signed to go along with this muscle down low. We'll soon see how Wright and Green fit along side these bigs... or Ray Shipman perhaps. Welcome to the SEC Champions, Mr. Tyler! :geauxtige :bball: :champs: LSU IS A BASKETBALL SCHOOL. PACK THE PMAC.
Let's see what he does at LSU before throwing out bouquets. I agree it - as well as the other commitments - looks good for the staff. You can't go anywhere without guards, though. We need to get some signed up.
