Question: How many times did we throw (or try to throw) to OUR tight ends? I honestly can't remember one. OSU made money all night throwing to theirs. OSU had two of the better corners in the country. So do we. We tried throwing to our WRs covered by their good CBs. They threw to the TE, covered by a safety who (even though is very good) was shorter and lighter. Hmmmm

We were trying to throw to David Jones the first play. The one that was picked and we never threw to him again.

David Jones is one of the best TE's in the country, he is huge, and has good hands. With so many dropped passes last week I don't understand why we didn't use him more.

Our tight end plays fullback a lot. Fullbacks at LSU are quick offensive linemen who line up in the backfield and block. When they line up in the true tight end position they sometimes get into the pass pattern, but Nick is likely not showing his entire offense yet and we needed the TE to block against those 7 and 8 man fronts.
