This kid from UT took quite a shot. You might want to include him in your thoughts and prayers. It doesn't sound like his arm is in good shape:

"Inky Johnson has sustained a severe injury to his right upper extremity," Tennessee athletic trainer Jason McVeigh said in a statement. "He underwent surgery to repair blood vessels and will require further surgery for nerve injury in the future. He is in stable condition at this time. He will not return to play this season.

I read online on some other boards that if his arm cannot be resucitated, they will have to amputate. I'm not 100% on that statement, but just fueling the rumor mill.

    He's definately in my prayers.

That is too bad. I hate when serious injuries occur. I hope he recovers.

That's a shame. I don't want any players to get injured. Especially like that.

I read that earlier and wondered what type of hit could cause blood vessel damage? Anyone know exactly how the injury occured? Let's hope for a full recovery.
