Tino or Talltiger, has Amp already enrolled in another school? Is the door to LSU completely closed. If he is indeed transferring, is it to a school in Florida? I know you didn't want to say the school yet but just curious if he is going back to his home state. Thanks.
Just tell Amp to NOT choose the Florida Gators as his "transfer option".... God I would HATE to sling curse words at him in two years if he would score on us..... Then I would have to dislike him very, very much... I can't stand the Hurricanes, or even the 'Noles....but I would gladly accept him going to either of those places over UF....
I'd hope Miles wouldn't give him a release to an SEC team. I respect Amp's decision, and want him to go where he'll be successful, but if he goes to an SEC team he should not get a release.
But doesn't the player just ask for a release? and is it then not granted or rejected? 'Cause if that's how it is, then once a player gets his release, then does the former coach have any say-so as to where the player decides to go? ...my instincts tell me "no".
Please correct me if I'm wrong but I believe a coach may deny a release for any reason. Is a player required to provide any information or reason for the release request? We've all seen past situations where coaches have denied release requests. Does Mile deny the request if he believes Amp is throwing a temper tantrum? Amp, come back, all will be forgiven
