Bring a motor bike\scooter of some sort because he obviously likes them. Went shopping in BR yesterday and we decided to stop by and visit Mike. He was just pacing around in the corner of his habitat until this guy on a motorized scooter showed up. Then he started stalking him and running after him. I got some footage and uploaded it this morning. I had to downgrade the quality a little bit because of You Tube. It gets pretty cool around the 4 minute mark or so. I didn't edit it because it's pretty much all footage of him. Thats awesome, and as cool as Mike V was, when I was in school I dont think he ever woke up from a nap. Glad to see a youngster again.
Must have been a Bama fan or Saban on the scooter.... :milesmic: :tigereye: :milesmic: Seriously though, I just can't get over how magnificent of a specimen Mike VI is. They couldn't have made a better choice. It's going to be fun watching him mature over the coming years.
Best vid of him I have seen yet. Looks like early morning is the best time as usual. Perhaps as it gets cooler, he will play a bit more in the afternoon. Thanks for the video. Great job!:thumb:
I was @ LSU when Mike V was a cub, and he used to stalk young children who would walk in front of his cage. He was pretty lively when he was young, but not as lively, it would appear, as Mike VI.
when i was at LSU in the 90's i used to park at the track stadium and walk past him every day (mike V that is) but he was definitely more active in cooler weather. i would guess now would be a great time to go check mike VI out. :tigerhead
