How much do you tip the bathroom attendant? If you know there will be multiple trips, do you tip a bigger bill the first trip to cover you for the night or smaller amounts each time? Do you take stuff or spray cologne? Do you tip less if it's a place that doesn't seem nice enough to need one?

If you are bad do you become a bathroom attendant when you die?

I guess telling then "don't shake too many hands" would suffice, right?

I tipped a bathroom attendant in East Berlin once. I was kinda taken back cause I never heard of such a thing but, there he was, the bathroom pimp machine. Dude had class about the whole thing, was genuinely happy about your patronage, wasn't pushy, just...there. I gave him a fitty cent piece and a couple of quarters which, I found out later was a pretty good haul for the dude. At the time, everything in East Berlin was paid for with monopoly money, so it was like giving him a twenty. A twenty spot in 1986...

I wouldn't give a twenty... but if you leave in more of a sanitary/ smelling like a gentlemen type condition, I'd say a 10 spot ain't out of the question. I have tipped less for a shoeshine and I am all about a good shine.
