There was always one thing about this LSU team that always bothered me. JJ at qb. Someone got it right. :thumb:
The same thing that has bothered many of us for 3 years. Whats hard to believe is the loyalty that Miles showed him for no apparent reason and he repays him with one last stab in the back. Miles has to feel like a total buffoon after reading those comments. JL was more loyal even after Miles screwed him repeatedly.
That said it all. I think JJ killed any chance of getting drafted in the NFL, if he ever had any, and also any chance of getting a grad assistant position on the LSU staff. It's called burning bridges. Here's another take by Chris Low that says pretty much the same thing. Loyalty not a two-way street with Jefferson - SEC Blog - ESPN
This is the best statement. But a true leader critiques himself first. A true leader, one with the right kind of chest (as Miles would say), doesn't point fingers after the fact, and a true leader finds a way to get it done when it counts.
I find it funny that several media personalities have said today that Jefferson's statements have probably ruined any chance for him in the NFL. Did anyone ever think he had a chance in the NFL????
