He always seemed like a good guy. And even made KSU relevant for a few years there. Hope he does well.

And if you talk to Lester Earl again....nevermind.

lol good point but he may have accomplished the greatest turnaround of a program ever. What he did there was unbelievable.

Oklahoma DC/ Asst HC Brent Venables getting a close look as a replacement.

I forget what happened that rubbed me the wrong way about Snyder

He did something that made him look like a complete ass a few years back....and wasn't there some improprieties at KSU?

I don't recall any big scandal with him.

Some of my buddies didn't like him, because I could annihilate anybody using Michael Bishop and Friends on NCAA Football. But that's about the only negative I can recall about him.

probably the fact he'd win 9-10 games by 70 points but get whipped by any legit team late.

I guess it's like a modern day Texas Tech. Or like BYU a few years ago, when they would gripe about not getting respect, and then get 80 put on them....BY FREAKING HAWAII!

I always disliked the "soft" non-conference schedule K-State used to put together. They would be undefeated at 8-0 and lose to a half-decent Big XII team. :dis:

Now, they did have some talent, and were capable of beating the rest of the Big XII "Big Boys" at times, but over-all, their record, IMO, was inflated.

Having said that, you still gotta give Snyder some credit for bringing the program into the national spotlight for awhile. Doesn't really matter the reasons/ways they got there, they were at least there.
