DT is hangin around. It's shapin up to be a good tournament. Tiger is making a late surge with Goosen being his own worst enemy. I'm pulling for Gore. What a great story he is. Thats whats so great about golf, there are so many great stories. It's definatley one of the best human interest sports. If Toms doesnt self destruct on friday, he'd be in the lead or within a stroke or 2. Still time though.
DT's +5 for the day and in a tie for 10th. I'm amazed at Goosen's play. He's folded like a cheap suit. Looks like Campbell's going to hang on and win it since Tiger just bogied.
ya...goosen and toms let the pressure get to them....on ESPN they said that either Goosen, Toms, or Woods would win....Tiger has played well..but man goosen has sucked
I got choked up the first 3-4 times I saw it. The other 10,833 times I got a little disturbed at the amount of times they kept bringing it up.
They say what makes a golfer is how good they are on their bad days, and that is what makes Tiger so great... He can shoot +1 or +2 on a day when really nothing is going his way If you do that long enough, you are eventually going to break through.
Well, if Tiger shoots +1 or +2 in most tourneys he'll lose by 8 or 9 strokes. Pinehurst was playing as tough as I've seen a course play in recent memory. I think the things about Payne Stewart were good. But, I'm a sappy guy too. Golf is such a good sport for stuff like that though. I think that golf and baseball are the best human interests sports. Great stuff this weekend. I thought the coverage was good too. Too bad the actual tourney lost steam when Tiger bogied.
it's a US Open anology man.... In a regular tourny, his 'bad day's are normally -2, -3... What i meant was he is only 2-3 shots off of a GOOD golfer when he is scuffling... he grinds SO much harder than anyone else...
