Just watched on one of the sports channels "The Best Damn Football Plays." It was the top 50 plays of all time. LSU's "Bluegrass Miracle" was #15. The only disappointment was that Billy's Cannon's heralded run was not included. It was a great show.

How could they not include Billy Canon's run? At least Devery got some recognition. The look on the Kentucky fans will forever be in my mind. Oh what could have been for the poor old blue grass state.....

How about some of that razzle-dazzle from some of those high school teams? Damn how I love top-level high school ball!

I cant remember but I think the saints lateral play against Carolina was #13. Im glad they didnt show the extra point after.:dis:

Also the Saints were around #38 for Nov. 8 - Saints' Tom Dempsey kicked a NFL-record 63-yard field goal on the game's final play to defeat Detroit, 19-17 in Roberts' 1st game as head coach ... the holder was Joe Scarpati & Jackie Burkett was the snapper ... Dempsey, born without toes on his right foot, wore a heavy square-toed kicking shoe. Dec. 21 - Saints finish year with 2-11-1 record.

I wonder if some of the Saint's boners are in there like the Falcons hail Mary against us in the late 70s (Bartkowski was Atlantas QB) or Clevelands hail Mary a few years ago.

Or Gilliams opening kickoff return in our first game?
