1. Jimmy Graham signed a one-year deal with the Saints today. At first I thought this was a sign-and-retire move. He's 36 years old. But now it appears the Saints legit think he can contribute to the offense this year.

Also signed former LSU lineman Trai Turner. Also a one-year deal.
  2. nola.com says Michael Thomas is expected to be a full participant when practice opens tomorrow.
  3. Kamara gone 3 games for the Vegas incident. I figured 4 at the absolute minimum. Would love to have been in the room for his meeting with Goodell...or maybe not.
  4. Although it was only one series, the No.1 O looked good, scoring a TD on their opening drive against the defending Super Bowl champs defensives starters. Same with our D, stopping a 4th and inches against Mahomes and KCs first string O. Again, way too early to tell the kind of squad we'll have but that was encouraging.

  5. My favorite thing(s) about the offense's series was two well executed screens to Kamara. That was a glaring absence from the offense last year.

  6. Lattimore hurt his knee today but probably not too bad. Had it iced and heavily wrapped but was standing on the sidelines. I'm sure he would not have been standing on it if it were bad.
  7. I know the ones didn't play, but they practiced with the Chargers all week before the game last night and I read where Olave and Thomas ate up LA's revamped secondary.
  8. Steve Sidwell, defensive coordinator during the Dome Patrol era, died today at 78.
  9. Couple of very questionable roster moves this morning. Cut Bradley Roby (sources say there were trade inquiries, now we get nothing for him) and Jaylon Smith (most observers seem to think he was past his prime but still showed enough to be productive).

Will Lutz traded to Denver, don't know what we got for him but speculation over the weekend was a 6th rounder.
  10. Wasn't happy with any of them
