Did anyone see Trev Alberts' incredibly lame attempt to soothe the ruffled Ole Miss feathers? Spouted something about the runt having a chance to make something of itself in the barnyard? Mark May had his head down and was trying to keep from laughing out loud.
Also, Fowler did a lead in to the LSU Arkansas game and Trev starts talking about Florida-Florida State!? Never again was LSU-Arky mentioned.
Laughable and pathetic at the same time.

He makes me want to puke. You are right.. not a mention after Fowler led in for the game. Not one highlight on our Tigers.. It is all part of the conspiracy..

Just a question from a guy out of Louisiana.. does the Sugar Bowl want LSU? Does NO want LSU? I have heard it would be a huge loss for the city and its hotels and businesses if we go to the Sugar Bowl.... (we all know that it will be the opposite as the city will be upside down with LSU there) I know that they really dont have a say in it based on BCS.. just was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this.

Who cares if New Orleans hotels and merchants want LSU? They have a BCS bowl game and they have to take us. New Orleans football fans sure as hell want LSU in the NC game.

    LSU travels better than USC

New Orleans is happy enough to have LSU. USC is not a great team for traveling and probably LSU fans from all over the country will come in for a NCG with LSU--I think it will be a big economic success if it happens.

GO TIGERS! Smoke those babybacks tomorrow!

I have 6 friends on the 90-member Sugar Bowl Committee ... where I get my free tickets ... and

FOR THE MOST PART ... LOL ... THEY DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH LSU MAKING IT TO THE SUGAR BOWL

    WHY?

COMMON SENSE ... MOST OF THEM ... majority ... LOVE LSU (2 out of 3)

DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH LSU

Trev is an ass. I thought his Ole Miss "runt" comment was terrible. Remember, this is the same guy who called UCLA "tough", when talking about SC's game against them. His comment wasn't just a bash at Ole Miss, but also at the SEC, which he feels is a weak conference b/c Florida and Tenn are not on top (something he at said mid season).

I did see him backpeddle last night, and it was great. He made an ass of himself, and he can't seem to live it down. He just needs to think before he talks, if he had, he probably wouldn't have said that about Ole Miss nor would he have been locked into his Ohio St/Okla Sugar Bowl prediction.
