I've seen the Red Sox beat New York in the world series a while back, that's about all I've seen.

Basically, looking for a few tips on how I should choose a team to follow.

I was thinking of using some system involving lsu players but I'm stuck.

tampa bay rays are fun because they are run brilliantly and compete with success against two (sox/yanks) of the biggest/richest sports franchises that ever existed.

    Did a little research.

    Down to:
    Tampa
    San Fran
Braves(apparently we see them a good bit down here)
Boston(saw them beat the yankees and enjoyed it)

Kind of leaning towards San Fran but I'm not sure if I'll be able to just pick up a team and go. Might just try watching a few games first.

pick a favorite player and follow him. i saw fred lynn play in 75 and loved the way he played (same as I did), so i followed him and the Red Sox. Still follow the Sox, but also follow Houston...closest team to me. I can drive to houston and see them.
