Does anybody know why there were TV timeouts at the LA Tech game. I don't ever remember Tigervision games having tv timeouts. Have I just been missing it in the past or was this something new this week.

By the way, coupled with the clock issues, it was really annoying.

I'm thinking because it was essentially an ESPN broadcast, they had to take breaks. The only commercials they showed were ESPN commercials, however. I will say that those College Football Gameday commercials were pretty good!

I was looking forward to the game passing by a little bit quicker because we weren't going to have our usual 2 hours of tv timeouts... But, from what I recall, it still wasn't too bad. The worst was getting back to house from game to watch the fourth quarter at home, and the same AWFUL commercial for LSU Medical Physics came on followed by that damm car commercial! LSU needs a whole new line of advertisements.

I was hoping for a shorter game too... but man did it seem to drag at times. Not that I'm complaining, but the third quarter felt like it would never end.

As I recall the game was over 3.5 hours. I don't think it was any shorter at all. Although that wasn't totally due to TV timeouts. The referee breaking his leg and clock not working also added to it.
