Why is the 2007 National Championship flag not beside the other two National Championship flags?

Second question: Did Miles ever receive a Gatorade bath from the players following the NC win this year? I saw two baths given and neither was Miles.

Do you have a picture of the flags? I know in 2004 they raised the flag on that same flag pole in the north endzone as they did this years. I'm not sure if they all fly on that same pole because I sit under that pole and don't usually look back there. Not sure if all three would fit on that one pole. LSU may need to invest.

I'm pretty sure CLM never got the bath.

The flag flew from the same flagpole as the others. They just didn't raise the other flags.

Miles actually told the team to not give him the gatorade bath, because being on the stage with gatorade all over your hair and body doesn't look good and also doesn't feel good.

Oh ok, I couldn't understand why they didn't at the time.

My memory didn't serve me well then. I thought there were two different flagpoles for the 59' and 03' flags.

They were probably afraid to after that press interview before the SECCG:hihi:

One of the biggest cliches in football....THE GATORADE BATH....hopefully it will go away soon. It was cool and funny and different back in the 80's though. I am more of a fan of the single biggest cliche in football of all time...carrying the coach off/on the field on the players shoulders.

If I was calling the shots, there would have been two different flags poles for the 58' and 03' flags. Instead, they decided to put them on the same pole. Attached is a pic. Now that we have our third NC flag, I hope they finally have decided to permanently fly them on three separate flags poles, rather than having them all on one pole.
