What's the deal with the President of the U of Colorado. Her just sitting on her hands after the coach was cleared is putting that program in more of a mess. She needs to make up her mind on what she plans to do whatever that may be. She is just keeping that program in limbo which hurts a team, program, recruiting, and overall the university. She is so worried about making the "right" decision to please the "right" people. Have we become so pussified that we no longer have common sense. She needs to be a man and make a decision NOW. I am no fan of Colorado or anything, but I am tired of people being such wimps.
From what I saw in the televised portion of findings by the committee the coach was anything but cleared. I saw the findings being read and the person reading the findings clearly stated that sex and drugs were used to recruit potential players and that the problems were systematic and not just isolated. From what I saw I would expect Barnett to be fired shortly.
Then what she needs to do is fire him. What I read, she was going to wait some time before making a decision. If the coach allowed this behavior to go on or turned a blind eye to it, he should be fired. My beef with her is putting it off.
I am in Denver at the moment and these people are afraid of being sued by the Coach and I really think that people out here want to go the route of Vandy and makes Football less than it is and not so powerful.
