You won't get much credit for beating this Auburn team who has beaten no one yet this season.

UCLA still hasn't played USC. There's a far greater chance of us beating our toughest remaining opponent than them beating their toughest remaining opponent. Although the overtime that it took for them to beat the terrible Wash St. team last week was impressive lol.

Still a lot of ball to be played. If I remember right It wasn't until the last game of the season (SECCG)that we passed USC in the BCS polls. It's definitely a long shot but we are still in it. If we win out we will be in a BCS game with a great record and I'll be more than happy with that after the weird way this season started.

It adds to the enjoyment to be able to still be "in the running", even if just mathematically.

Sooooooo many teams had to lose and so many things had to fall into place in 2003 for LSU to go to the NC game in 03 that those comments would have been just as appropriate back then, if not more.

Until I see a team go undefeated, I am not convinced they are automatically 11-0 for the regular season.

UCLA is undefeated.... I say they deserve it... In the same token, either they or USC have to lose, so I'll say the cliche:

Everything will balance out in the end...

to me that's not the point. they were behind lsu. lsu beats ranked auburn and ucla beats crappy or st.

the harris poll may turn out to be just as stupid as ap and coaches. im sure they were impressed with ucla's big offensive #s. west coast bias in the system.

Maybe the pollster saw that LSU again almost beat ourselves... and needed an AU mistake to pull away a victory.

Whatever the hell the pollster and everyone else wants to rank us is immaterial... we win the SEC we go to the Sugar Bowl. We lose to Bama we go to the Cotton. Our season is as simple as that. And if we beat Bama and Lose to Georgia in the SECCG we may still get an at large depending on how many 1 loss teams are left at that time... i doubt there will be any in the Big 10 or 12... we we may get the Fiesta against ND if an undefeated UGA gets snubbed from the Rose Bowl.
