Lost to Bama...the same Bama that lost to Ole Miss and is missing their Wooden candidate, Chuck Davis.

Ashley Judd has been put on suicide watch.

 Great game! We shot the ball very well and Davidson just took over! We are not deep at all and guys are playing some big minutes. Also, we were in foul trouble the whole game.

I'm excited...Two road SEC wins without Davis! :thumb:

Oh but in their defense, Ole Miss has really shown an improvement from past years. Their offensive production has really improved and that transfer from AU is playing well. They are 3-0 in SEC play with wins over Bama, USC, and Miss St. Barnes is really doing a good job down there.

the fact that Ole Miss is the cream of the SEC West right now shows just how far this conference has dropped...

This is a team that lost to New Mexico by FIFTY points, to Illinois Chicago by 12, and has whopping a 7 pt win against Arkansas St., a 6 pt win against Southeastern, and a 6 pt win against Western Carolina...

if Ole Miss is the team to beat, i GUARANTEE LSU wins the West...

Catspaw has like 1500 people logged in to the messageboard. Most are calling for Tubby to get the axe.

Ole Miss may have beaten us in Coleman, but that was the game that Chuck Davis went down. You could see the team just go flat and the emotions were really bearing on the game. We bombed the second half and lost the game.

BUT......They have really played some good ball lately. Anytime you get a road win in the SEC it's good and we have bounced back from a home loss to grab 2 road wins. The team has played with some confidence and determination in those 2 games. It's almost like the rest of the season is for Chuck.

The offense has really changed. Instead of the 3 big guys (Davis, Davidson, Hendrix) clogging up the middle, it's just Davidson and Hendrix, with long slashers (Felix, Brock, Gee) on the outside. Since the middle isn't so stuffy anymore, Steele has really started to take control of a game and drive-n-kick. I was dreading the worst when Chuck went down and I really hate it for him. This may make us more of a team and really let Steele take charge of the team.

I wouldn't "guarantee" anything this early. That's a big statement there...Bama is going to be in the mix, so dont count us out. :thumb:

**Great game by Jamereo Davidson! 28 points, 8 rebounds!**

I don't care who the team is...but when you have a team shoot @70% for a half it makes it pretty hard for anyone to beat them. As much as I hate saying this, I don't think this win is indicative of the season. Alabama started this season needing a two guard badly, then with the loss down under it's made a lot of pre-season speculations bleak, at best.

If some guys can step up in a big way...there's an outside chance of some post season play.

My pre-season pick was Bama vs LSU for the West. I'd have to say it's LSU's to lose right now.

Ole Miss did put a thumping on MSU today...

Man, it's painful to watch UK's offense. Tubby has his work cut out for him to get this team in the tourney. They must be going crazy in Lexington this morning with back-to-back SEC losses at home.

Even though Ole Miss is 3-0, I still don't think they are a good team. Their SOS is ranked 212 and their RPI is 82! Let's see how they do on the road this week against UGA and Ark before playing LSU.

I'm not saying that they are a good team or even the team to beat in the West. I just think that Barnes has got one of the best squads in a long time over there in Oxford. He's doing a good job and 2 straight road wins to start off the SEC is unheard of for them--SEC down or now. They are in the right direction--just moving slowly.
