    damn, i was hoping to watch the highlights on sportscenter and see the entire stadium overtaken by an avalanche

    Even with a dome, the conditions outside the stadium have to be miserable..... vehicles in snow, sidewalks iced over......yuck. Wouldnt want to live there, I'll take our mosquitos in the summer/fall.

    actually, parts of idaho (SW, including Boise) are milder than you'd think. theyre on the western side of the rockies and its not drastically colder than dallas in winter.

    went there for the lsu ncaa game there two years in march and it was great (the weather, not the game). it would be a great place to live.

    Average temeprature for Boise on January 1: Low= 23 degrees, High=36 degrees.

    Average temeprature for Dallas on January 1: Low= 34 degrees, High=54 degrees.

    Boise = below freezing.
