I'm here to take my licks as I said I would be. Dissapointed, obviously. We have a lot of work to do, and buckeye nation is attempting to process the fall from grace that we have argued over for the last several years. There's no denying it at this point, and hopefully this fact is the catalyst of the change that is necessary.

We were handled in the trenches. Boeckman did not play well, again. Thought Herron actually played pretty hard, unfortunately, no one on defense other than Jenkins did. We didn't attack, we were passive and paid the price, over and over and over again.

mercifully, I was so hammerred by the time the fourth quarter started, that I only have three quarters to try and permanently erase from my brain.

StaceyO and everyone else, you were right. I could not, would not, didn't want to see it. I was wrong. This team has a long way to go...

But we will get there, we will be back, eventually.

Always proud to be a buckeye, win or lose (big).

Going to be a tough loss to rebound from and the boys better get ready for troy next week, or it could turn into a real ugly season.

    As Always, Go Bucks!

This is how to be a devoted fan. Win or lose, you are still a fan. :thumb:

Just like just about all of us have been for generations.

OK, Buckeye...that's the way to respond. Stick around and I'll have your back when the (other:hihi:) smartazzes start to gang upon you.

Yeah, it was a tough one to swallow (again).

There's a long list of things I can get into but like my fellow Buckeye I back this team no matter what happens. It will be an interesting Big Ten season this year. Tough road games at Wisconsin and Illinois and a home battle with a Penn State team that looks to be much improved.

    Go Bucks!

So have our Tigers and what has it gotten them? Everyone will be caught up in the USC praise fest but the reality is they they haven't even been remotely tested. The UVA team they beat has only a win over Div II Richmond and lost nearly as badly (45-10) to UConn. If Ohio State as an opponent is your measuring stick, they have beaten Div II Youngstown State and Ohio which is 0-3 after losing to Central Michigan yesterday.
Unfortunately, after the performances of UCLA and Cal yesterday, they won't face a worthy opponent until the BCSNC game.

I'm starting to wonder if Tressel has mob ties or some sort of betting operation on the side. Probably made a killing off the Florida, LSU, and USC games, has it all secretly stashed away in untraceable Swiss bank accounts and will soon disappear to some exotic island where he will live the rest of his life in astonishing luxury. The whole "Senator" appearance is just a front to mask his grand scheme.

i fully see that happening at this point. i will be the first to admit that for the first couple of games i wasnt giving ou enough credit for being as good as they are. but they will still choke in the end. its in their genes now.

its already started. i heard those rumblings last night on the game day wrap up shows.

i thought if i heard "the only team that can beat usc is usc" one more time i was gonna throw the tv out the window.

Now,,,,,,,THIS is a direct quote. Don't blame it on the beers, seems you had a few when you wrote it:

"I've had a few beers tonight, but i must admit, i'm a little disgusted by it, and makes me hope for the almighty to send a little humility your way so you can see how it tastes."

I guess the "almighty" ignored your pleas when you tried to summon him on the proud SEC fans here in this forum. So,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,who did the "almighty" send the signal to?

    Enough Said.
