USC is no more a Co-National Champion!!!

    Hey guys,
    Several months ago, wiki had LSU and USC listed as the national champions of 2003, today I checked it again. This time, there was only one team listed as the 2003 national champion, this team being LSU. Any idea guys if LSU has been recogized as the only champion of 2003?

    I think they were named the champion in one of the polls. I think it was the AP Poll.

    On this board, there never was and never will be a 'co'-champion from '03.

    Anyone can change anything on Wikipedia. Go ahead and try just hit the edit button. It just means that an LSU fan was the last one to edit the article.

    It's also been changed on the official BCS site. No more mention of USC as co-champ.

    It has turned into a pissing match. Since the AP said not to use their poll in the BCS formula the BCS decided to pull any mention of the AP from their site. The AP didn't want to be associated with the "BCS mess" but I look for that to backfire on them since more and more people are leaning toward the BCS as the ONLY definitive national champion decision maker.
